




She debuted in Malayalam film Nammal opposite newcomers like Siddharth, Jishnu and Renuka Menon. The film was a big success and she got several offers in Malayalam. She won many honours and Kerala State Special Jury Award for the same film. Bhavana was a 11th class student when she got her break in films.[3] She has acted with almost all actors of Malayalam including Mohanlal, Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Jayaram, Prithviraj, Kunchacko Boban, Jayasurya etc. In 2003, she became the part of hit movies like Chronic Bachelor, C.I.D.Moosa, Swapnakoodu etc. In 2004 her career turned dim. Her movies like Youth Festival, Parayam, Bunglavil Outha etc bombed at the box-office. Her career was not a successful one in 2004. In 2005 she acted in Udayananu Tharam, Hridayathil Sookshikkan, Police, Daivanamathil, Chanthupottu and Naran. The films Udayananu Tharam, Chanthupottu and Naran turned out to be blockbusters and Daivanamathil was critically acclaimed. She got the Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress for Daivanamathil in 2006. In 2006 she acted in several movies like Chinthamani Kolacase, Chess and were successes. In 2007, her movie alongside Mohanlal, Chotta Mumbai turned out into a blockbuster. It was her third movie, paired along Mohanlal. After 2007, she concentrated much on Tamil Films. In 2008, the multistarrer Twenty:20 saw her comeback to Malayalam Cinema. Her recent releases in malayalam include Lollipop and Sagar Alias Jacky.
Her first Tamil film originally offered was Koodal Nagar opposite Bharath but shelved due to some technical difficulties, but completed and released in April 2007. Her first released Tamil film Chithiram Pesuthadi with Malayali Actor Narain was a great success and after this successful movie she has got many offers in Tamil and currently doing many projects with famous Tamil actors like Madhavan, Jayam Ravi, Bharath and Srikanth.[4]
Mohandas débuted in the Malayalam film Mayookham in 2005 directed by Hariharan. Although the film did not do well at the box-office, Mohandas attracted attention for her sensitive portrayal.[2] Her breakthrough was the role of Mammootty's sister in the successful Bus Conductor.
She then acted with Suresh Gopi in Adhbutam and Lanka and with Jayaram in Madhuchandralekha. She was later roped into play heroine in Keerthi Chakra with Mohanlal, but opted out later due to scheduling conflicts. She created controversy after the release of the movie Lanka. She was paired opposite Suresh Gopi in the movie. [3]
Later she did a Tamil language film, Sivapathigaram opposite Vishal Reddy directed by Karu Pazhaniappan. Mohandas has done Kollywood playback, singing Kaalai Kaalai in the film Kaalai, which stars Silambarasan.
Her Malayalam film Lanka got dubbed into Telugu and is titled Pokiri Pilla. While Pokiri Pilla was her first movie in Telugu which was a malayalam dubbed movie, the first direct Telugu movie chance came in the form of a singer. Mohandas who is trained in Carnatic and Hindustani music made her singing debut with Rakhee movie in which Devi Sri Prasad scored music. She was the singer for the female voice for the song Rakhee Rakhee for the film Rakhee. The music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. She went on to win the filmfare award as the best playback female singer in telugu in the year 2007.
She was offered to sing the song Akalesthe Annam Pedtha for the film Shankardada Zindabad with Chiranjeevi in the lead. This film's music was again composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The song was a big hit. She got her first chance to act as a supporting actress in the film Yamadonga directed by SS Rajamouli. The film was one of the biggest hits of the year. She had lent her voice for a couple of songs in this film too. In 2008, her first film in telugu as the main lead came in the form of Krishnarjuna but the film faltered at the box office. Victory was her next assignment as lead actress but also failed at the box office. She then acted a cameo in Kathanayakudu. Mohandas got the offer to act in Homam which was directed by JD Chakravarthy and released in Sept 2008. She sang two songs in the film. She recently acted in the movie King (2008 film) directed by Srinu Vaitla and also sang title song for the movie where she got great applause for both her acting and singing.
Mohandas once wanted to become a motorbike racer because of her love for speed and her interest in motorcycle riding. She loves to race in open roads at over 200km/h on her Honda CBR 1000RR motorcycle.
Rani Mukerji (Bengali: রাণী মুখার্জী) born on March 21, 1978, is an Indian film actress who works in Bollywood movies.
Making her acting debut with Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat (1996), Mukerji had her first commercial success with Karan Johar's romance Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), her biggest hit so far, and won a Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award for her performance in the film. She later starred in many films, most of which fared below expectations. She re-invented her image with Saathiya (2002), which was commercially and critically successful.[1]

Mukerji comes from a film-oriented family of Bengali origin. Her father Ram Mukherjee is a retired director and one of the founders of Filmalaya Studios[4] while her mother Krishna was a playback singer. Her brother Raja Mukherjee is a film producer, now turned director. Her maternal aunt, Debashree Roy, is a national award-winning Bengali film actress and her cousin, Kajol, is a popular Bollywood actress.
Mukerji is a trained Odissi dancer, and began learning the dance in the tenth grade. Mukerji studied at Maneckji Cooper High School in Juhu, and later enrolled at Mithibai College in Mumbai.
In 2007, his fifth film, Desamuduru, directed by Puri Jagannadh, proved to be a box office hit[5] and the first hit[6] of the year in Tollywood. The movie grossed 6.58 crores in the first week of its release. This box-office take remains the highest so far in his career. In the same year, he also made a guest appearance in his uncle Chiranjeevi's film, Shankar Dada Zindabad. In May 2008, his sixth film Parugu, directed by Bhaskar, was released[7].
All of Allu Arjun's movies except Gangotri have been translated and dubbed into Malayalam. Desamudrudu was renamed Hero and Parugu was renamed Krishna. This made him accessible to audiences in the state of Kerala, where he has been well-received.
As of early 2008, Arjun was planning another Telugu film, to be directed by Gunasekhar and produced by hit maker D.V.V. Danaiah. After he completes the Gunasekhar film, he has agreed to do an all-star feature with Manoj Kumar and the actess Anushka Shetty, directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi (known for his famous film, Gamyam).
As of September 2009, Geetha akash, the production banner owned by his father Allu Aravind, is planning to produce a mega budget movie. The titled “Badrinath” is in consideration. It will be directed by V V Vinayak. The estimated budget of the movie is Rs 35 crores. The movie is expected to begin in 2011.[8]
Tamannaah started her film career with a Hindi film, Chand Sa Roshan Chehra. She made her debut in Tamil film industry along with Ileana In Kedi which did not do well at the box office. Her debut film in Telugu was Sri in which she played the leading female role opposite Manoj Kumar.
Her Telugu film Happy Days brought her huge success which made her shoot up into limelight. In Tamil, the movie "Kalloori" won her accolades and critical acclaim. Asin Thottumkal (Malayalam: അസിന് തോട്ടുങ്കല്), (born October 26, 1985[1]) is an Indian film actress from the state of Kerala.
Making her acting debut in Sathyan Anthikkad's Narendra Makan Jayakanthan Vaka (2001), Asin had her first commercial success with Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi in 2003, and won a Filmfare Award for the Best Telugu Actress for the film.
After a number of films, she received her second South Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance in her second Tamil film, Ghajini (2005). She played the lead female roles in hits, the thriller Ghajini (2005) and the action comedy Varalaru (2006). More recently, Asin made her début in Bollywood, with Ghajini, the remake of its Tamil namesake, subsequently winning the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award Award.
