Actress Lakshmi Rai seems to be riding high. After becoming one of the top Malayalam heroines, she seems to have captured the top position on the list of megastar Mammootty’s favourite heroines as well.
The actress, who was last seen in the blockbuster To Harihar Nagar, has romanced Malayalam super star Mammootty in the super hit Annan Thambi and Parunthu. She will now been seen opposite him in director Shafi’s upcoming film, Chattambinadu. The film will have Mammootty playing a Karnataka-based Malayalee estate owner with a Kannada accent. The film’s shooting will commence on September 9.
